COVID

Message from Dr. Danika Odama about COVID-19:

Dear patients and community,

We are living in unprecedented times that necessitate us working together to get through this. I am making every effort to keep my practice open and be of service to my community. In order to do this, I have made the following adjustments to ensure safety of myself, staff members, and patients:

Screening: We screen and take temperatures of all individuals entering our clinic. Anyone with symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc. will be asked to stay home.

Virtual Waiting Room: Upon arrival for your appointment, send a text to 206-321-6913 with your full name. You will receive a text or call when we are ready to greet you in our waiting room.

UV-C HEPA Air Purifier cleans the air, removes odors, and safely sanitizes the air of disease causing bacteria and viruses.

Sanitizing: Patient visits are scheduled to allow for sanitizing of patient rooms and common areas between appointments and to avoid congestion in the waiting room.

Social Distancing & Face masks: Face masks are required for anyone entering the clinic who does not have a medical condition that excuses them from wearing a face mask. Six feet physical distancing is to be observed at all times.

Contact-less payment methods are available.

– Handmade cloth face masks made by Dr. Danika will be available to purchase for $15.

– Hand sanitizer use is encouraged upon entry to the clinic and will be available as needed

If you have mild illness and are concerned about your health, call me or your other healthcare provider to discuss COVID-19 testing and management of your symptoms.

Currently, anyone with a fever and cough should assume their illness could be COVID-19-related and should take steps to protect others in the community and household from the disease.

The safety and well-being of my patients and employees is my primary concern. I will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally and within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding any changes.
